Community Activities:
BioReliance has an established history of contributing to local community organizations. Our global corporate citizenship program supports our corporation’s commitment to social responsibility, targeting programs and events that positively impact our local communities. We have a global team of 13 including an executive sponsor, who focuses on the selection and coordination of multiple programs.
The committee organizes monthly events including blood drives, participation in the annual American Diabetes Association Walk (ADA), clothing and food drives, school supply and toy drives. BioReliance has raised over $25,000 for the ADA in the past five years and has been recognized as one of the top fundraisers each year. We have participated in the annual Toys for Tots drive for more than 10 years. This month we’ll be holding our third annual Share our Strength bake sale to combat child hunger in the DC area. In the spring, we delivered more than 1,100 sandwiches to Manna Food Center. For many years, in partnership with either the American Red Cross or INOVA, we have hosted quarterly on-site blood drives.

Additional Information:
BioReliance has long been a socially responsible organization in our local community. We include corporate citizenship as one of our quadrants in the BioReliance Employee Enrichment program and are proud of our employee’s commitment to making a difference and giving back to those in need. Our program has specific funds budgeted each year to assist with corporate citizenship activities and contribute, for example, through matching funds. It is very inspiring to see how generous our employees are with their time and monetary donations, confirming that community service and social responsibility is at the core of our corporate culture
